The community is hard at work. But there’s more to do.
Cape Fear area officials have been at it through the storm and continue to provide resources at the resource recovery center at Independence Mall. Relief and recovery agencies, school systems, faith communities, first responders and associations continue to work hard to restore Cape Fear. We sincerely thank them.
Yesterday, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of the Cape Fear Area convened a meeting with community leadership to report on our local efforts of relief and recovery in the Cape Fear Area.
